Per quanto avesse trattato in passato – per oltre un decennio – l’antico mito mediterraneo, la Divina Commedia ha rispolverato la sua fantasia, portandolo ad esplorare i fondamenti logici e psicologici dell’affermazione, del Giudizio Universale, ritenuto dottrina rivelata.
Thanks to the rereading of the Divine Comedy, a pictorially unexplored world opened up to him. Although for over a decade he had approched and tackled the Ancient Mediterranean Myth, the Divine Comedy dusted off his imagination, leading him to explore both logical and psychological foundations of the affirmation of the Last Judgment, considered a revealed doctrine.
